It boosts low audio which is like 5% of youtube. What I really wanted was to truly compress to bring all volume to the same level or darn close. But if I have a video at full volume, doing an A/B test I can barely hear a difference. But if I put the slider down low it can make an inaudible video louder. So, for this to "compress" I have to turn on the compressor and turn the volume down further than usual to end up with a tolerable volume. It's not compressing well though if it works with the volume instead of scaling with it. |
