What I REALLY like about your extension and what sets it appart from others is, that it can read ANY text and that it is able to auto detect languages!! This is so helpful, because I sometimes read (well, now not anymore :-D ) German text and sometimes English text, and it is pretty cool, that I don't have to switch languages manually... But I have some suggestions for improving your extension: 1. Add more German voices 2. Ability to read the whole page without having to select the text manually 3. Ability to control reading speed 4. Ability to select and read text, that is written in different languages (currently, it just reads everything with one language, without switching it...) Ok, thats it! I hope you can add these features... (Maybe just copy some code from other extensions) PS: Your ext. deserves more users... | |

I use it to multitask whenever I don't feel like reading a page long blog I just highlight what I want it to read and I am able to do other stuff while it's reading. The program allows you to choose several languages and voices. For English I recommend the UK English Female voice option I find it sounds more real than the other voices and doesn't skip and mispronounce certain words. Just try to avoid any paragraphs with three or more periods because it will read those by saying dot dot dot which can be annoying. |
