en It works flawlessly so far. I use it to reply to LinkedIn connection acceptances, insert my standard email signature in applications where I can't save it, and add social media footers like "follow me for..." Recently, I've been using it for frequently-used ChatGPT prompts. While some items are short enough to type quickly, the repetition adds up! As a founder with a background in process improvement engineering and project management, I love efficiency and time management tools. Regarding compatibility, I use Windows 10&11 and the Edge browser with this Chrome extension.

en I love it, it is pretty simple to use.... I use it some times just when doing campaigns... I would like to have an option to pay one time and not monthly, since I use it a little bit, this way I could help with the support need it for this app thanks!

en UPDATE: After my zoom session with Michel, I was able to get Typedesk working. I quite like the functionality. But we were only able to make it work by disabling ActiveWords. I've been using Activewords for more than 15 years. It is embedded in my daily routines. It will just be too inconvenient to be switching it on and off to use Typedesk. Thanks for your response, Michel. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been unable to get typedesk working for me after two weeks of trying. I'm quite computer literate and have been using textexpander programs for more than 15 years. Hope someone can help get me started. This looks so useful.

en I originally posted a one-star review due to a glitch with this app, and then the owner of the company personally walked me through how to use the desktop app, which is fantastic. I would recommend starting there, and only use the browser extension if you have an OS that's incompatible with desktop version.

en I'll be honest, when I was first informed by my boss that we would be populating our some 100+ email templates into this program... I was not very happy. After reviewing the platform and getting the chance to properly test out the features and available functions, I was awestruck. It keeps the automation of email campaigns in a more manual and personalized manner. One could easily throw their CSV of all their email recipients and shoot out a mass email campaign that will simply have a variable value that's changed in the name and possibly a product, but how personal could you get outside of that? Simple, you can't. Here comes TypeDesk, the savior of a personal touch that applies a semi-automating method. My biggest downside is the lack of html templates, but I imagine that is a mess and a half to get set up. I am absolutely in love with this application and I HIGHLY suggest it for any small businesses out there.

en This is a must have if you're working with a lot of data. The app has many functions that allow you to move to multiple fields and fill them in no time. Long story short, if you type repetitively or do Copy Past a lot, you have to have Typedesk.

What sets typedesk apart is its ability to take this to the next level by making it incredibly easy to customize these text snippets. It allows the incorporation of variables and conditions, and one can even perform simpler calculations, like generating a quote. A recent addition is the capability to integrate Chat GPT and trigger additional processes via webhook. Now, it's up to you whether you're savvy enough to leverage this toolbox to become more efficient.
