en I opened an account as an alternative to Google Finance Sharesight does not track cash within a brokerage account, so one cannot get a true picture of the value of the account Sharesight did not support two mutual funds that I hold: VFITX MWTSX These are two fairly popular bond funds I opened the account and I closed the account within approximately 45 minutes Sorry, folks -- your service may be adequate for some but not for me

en Sharesight knowingly restrict high net worth investors and frequent traders from using their site. I've got about $6m of shares that are the result of a modest sum invested fourteen years ago, that has achieved a high rate of compounding. In that time, I've made thousands of trades. I've always hated using Sharesight because it is unbelievably slow and crash-prone, but unfortunately, I presently need to use it to prepare my tax return. When I complained to Sharesight via CMC (my broker) about the awful performance of their site, I was told the following: "The maximum amount of trades held in any portfolio at any time is 3000 trades. With an extensive amount of trades (2000 +) a client will not be able to run consolidated views....It's the performance calculation algorithms that are the main issue (not the amount of data). If we calculate reports on portfolios with too many trades the page load will become very slow and start to time out. Some of the charts will also stop loading." Which is a fancy way of saying: "We are aware of this problem but it's not worth our while to fix it, so we'll pretend that it's the customer's fault for trading too much."

en Duped me into trying it then wanted 20 dollars per month to track more than 10 stocks. Give me something robust enough so that I can see if it is useful. Sucker app.
