I don't usually write reviews but Jesus Christ this was a terrible experience. I had to download this trash to take the LSAT Writing exam and I spent twice as long troubleshooting as I did taking the damn test. Avoid if possible. |

I finished a practice exam and the woman who supervised me literally pressured me to rate her a 5 on the survey thing that pops up after you close the chatbox. When I chose 3, she literally kept on saying "5. 5 is the highest." Damn, this sucked lol. Also felt highly invasive. Overall, a very, very horrid experience. |

Putting aside the invasive nature of proctorU, the technical support is abysmal. I have spent the last hour and a half attempting to troubleshoot a "virtual/remote machine" detection despite no such programs existing on my computer. The proctors immediately disconnect from the chat, so I cannot get their help to locate the issue. I called their support line and their response to me was that they could not tell me what program their system was flagging, and that there was nothing that they could do. I have basically now removed almost half of the existing programs from my computer, anything that possibly could be flagged as an error on proctorU's side, in a desperate attempt to write my exam before the window closes. I have now missed my exam window. Extremely poor technical support for an even worse application. These proctoring products should be put in the ground where they belong. The covid-19 pandemic is over and these tools are nothing more than a legacy from that time. Judging my the other reviews left here, it is only a matter of time before proctorU is no longer used. |
