en I installed this extension for the second time first time when I installed it, I had to delete it because I didn't understand how to setup the extension using API keys. However, this time I exactly followed the instructions given in the extension setting, got an API of Merriam webster collegiate dictionary and thesaurus and started using it. I was surprised by the result I got the meaning, synonyms and other stuff exactly Merriam webster provides that too at a convenience of just a single click. I really love the content, but appearance could be enhanced. 1. Scope: The position of the popup is not at the right place as when it opens it hides a lot of content under it. Solution: Either alter the position of the popup to the right side or just below the word that a user looking for— see the burning vocabulary popup. 2. Scope: The popup that appears on screen is quite small. Solution: Increase the size equivalent to the burning vocabulary popup size. 3. This is not from appearance front, but this is a demand for a new feature. See in burning vocabulary the one very productive thing that they provide users is word card. They basically capture the entire sentence with that highlighted word and show users in a flash card. As you could see the main purpose of any dictionary is in building the users vocabulary over time. Providing word cards could help the user revisit the word in its actual context and easily learn them. This will be a great aid for the user and one of the greatest value propositions of this extension. If possible, I would suggest you to not only add word card but also consider adding space learning system as provided by burning vocabulary to its pro user. 4. This is not from you to us this is from us to you— I searched the extension setting and the GitHub page and didn't find a way to contribute to the developers. I would like you guys to add a donation button. Thanku!

en Not free—unless your time spent making it work is worth $0. Pros: + Opens a small over-the-page window for quick word lookup Cons: - The treasure is limited, so it doesn't find or define all words - Made by developers for developers. Hear me out: After a while, it stopped working, saying I needed to put in an "API key," with no further information provided. So, I went searching. Perplexity instructed me to create an account on their developer website (https://dictionaryapi.com/), but the website directed me to start with the "products" page. The products page didn't seem to include anything related to extension APIs, so I clicked on a strangely located "register" link to follow Perplexity's solution. I closed the registration page the moment I saw the form! It fails basic UX and accessibility standards, and it's ridiculously long, with fields that aren't relevant for consumers or single users. I felt so cheated because when you factor in the time spent getting this extension to work, it actually makes it very expensive and NOT FREE.
