Uses WAY TO MUCH CPU in the BACKGROUND. For WEEKS, I was wondering why my Mac was blowing hot air and fans full speed for no particular reason. I finally traced the source to this Chrome App that I have running on Microsoft Edge browser. It was using up to 50% of my CPU power causing the system to heat up. The app is useful for sure but what is this? It shouldn't run in the background (at all) or to the degree that it causes the laptop / PC to try to cool down so much. Disabled it for now, fans have slowed down. | |
