GeoWarp - privacy under control Firefox

GeoWarp - privacy under control

Change your GPS location, timezone, and block tracking per website. Firefox Containers support lets you assign a distinct identity to each tab. Runs locally with zero latency.

Features & Capabilities

Websites track your activity even when you block cookies or use private browsing. They can do this by reading your real GPS location, local timezone, and the technical details of your device (known as digital fingerprinting).

GeoWarp gives you full control over this data. GeoWarp lets you assign different locations and protection profiles to each website, fully integrating with Firefox Multi-Account Containers.

KEY FEATURES:

  1. Deep Firefox Containers Integration Assign distinct identities and locations to each Firefox Container. Each container automatically receives its own independent fingerprint seed, preventing websites from linking your activities across accounts, even if no custom site rules are set.
  2. Per-Website GPS Spoofing Assign specific geographic coordinates to any domain or container. You can make one tab see you in Berlin, another in New York, and keep your real location for everything else. GeoWarp keeps your spoofed coordinates strictly inside a safe noise radius.
  3. Stop Digital Fingerprinting GeoWarp scrambles the technical markers tracking scripts look for. It protects your canvas reads (including OffscreenCanvas), audio configuration, WebGL graphics, WebRTC connections, device memory, CPU cores, and screen dimensions.
  4. Automatic Timezone and Language Sync When you spoof a location in a different country, GeoWarp automatically aligns your timezone, browser Date object, Intl formatting, and network request headers (Accept-Language and Client Hints). Websites see a consistent profile instead of a suspicious mismatch.
  5. Block Service Workers Service Workers can run in the background to track you over time. GeoWarp can disable them globally or on specific domains, shrinking your tracking surface.
  6. Clear Site Data Instantly Wipe cookies, Cache Storage, IndexedDB, and localStorage for the active domain with a single click in the popup to instantly reset your identity.
WHY CHOOSE GEOWARP?
  • 100% Local and Private: GeoWarp does not send your browsing history, rules, or settings to external servers. Everything stays on your device.
  • Full Internet Speed: Because the extension does not route or tunnel your network traffic (unlike a VPN or proxy), your connection runs at maximum speed.
  • Invisible to Page Scripts: Overrides are injected directly into the page's main world context, preventing tracking scripts from easily detecting the spoofing layer.
  • Diagnostic Panel (GeoWarp Doctor): A sidebar utility shows you exactly which privacy surfaces the active website is querying in real time.
HOW TO GET STARTED:
  1. Install the extension.
  2. Select a regional preset or search for a custom city using the built-in location generator.
  3. Enable the Default Rule to apply it everywhere, or create a specific rule for a single domain or Firefox Container.
  4. Browse on your own terms.
IMPORTANT NOTE: GeoWarp controls the information exposed by your browser APIs. It is not a VPN or proxy service – it does not encrypt or reroute your network traffic, and your IP address does not change. For complete privacy, use GeoWarp alongside a trusted VPN or proxy provider.
