2024-09-17 | Jason Tomita | en | I feel it's a refined product which the team continues to improve. Convenient. CTRL+C recognizes domain name and starts the search. Provides means to easily mute the lookup, provides progress wheel for status on lookup. Findings appear on a right slide-out. Thanks!

2023-11-28 | スポンジボブ!! | en | wow, works great! very smooth UI. No requirement to sign up or get an API key* so as soon as it's installed, it's ready to use (*the API key has been integrated by the creator so we don't have to do the extra step!). Similar tools, like OWASP Pentesting Kit ext, requires an account, subscription, and API key, and then if you aren't logged onto the website, the ext is terribly slow and loses connection a bunch (even if you're doing nothing of note). Pulsedrive's much better and lightning fast. It's like a mix of Port Scanner, WhoIs, and a less comprehensive Vulners scanner (which also requires sign-up + API, but it's a very good ext so it's worth the hassle). I think Vulners compliments Pulsedrive quite nicely bc it fills in what Vulners doesn't, like WhoIs, IP scan, etc., and if you add Trufflehog and FindSomething with them, you can find pretty much find all of a site's vulnerabilities in just a few seconds (and Vulners provides explanations in its pop-up window.). FindSomething more frequently finds secrets over Trufflehog, but Trufflehog tends to find juicier secrets. Of course, Trufflehog requires an account + API to use; FindSomething is ready to use once it's installed. (Trufflehog and FS source codes are on github if you're curious about them). Also--this ext is FREEMIUM, but it's actually pretty good freemium; free users can make 30 requests per min and a max of 1,000 requests per day. W/o an account, you can explore 100 results; with an account and api, it's 1000. Many other exts will give the user like ... 5 requests then require an up-front payment of a year subscription, and then the paid sub is usually very similar to what Pulsedrive is offering for free. ONE CON -- free users have a paging limit of 1, which could eat up all your requests really fast if the website you're investigating is chunky.

2023-01-25 | C Smith | Outstanding official Chrome extension for Pulsedive! I have zero complaints. Incredibly convenient to do lookups at any time. Thoughtfully built by the folks who actually use it, so it just makes sense. |
