This SecurePass is nothing but issues. Either I cannot log in or I need to login again with the master account, furthermor, take extra steps to aceess my passwords within the app itself! Then after all that, get error messages. (yes, a ticket was submitted today and yes, cache is cleared). From the laptop, i need to refer to my mobile phone to get my passwords! I am shocked to see a sub-par product from the award-winning Bitdefender. BITDEFENDER, you are forcing me to start looking elsewhere :-( They should have warned us that this product was still in BETA testing. | |

When I upgraded to Bitdefender Security Ultimate, it included SecurePass which had to be installed separately and then all of the information in Password Manager had to be moved over. Using this software requires a level of computer training and expertise that seems unnecessary. It seems a design problem that I have to watch multiple YouTube videos and google requests to find out how to use the password portion of this software. It has made keeping track of passwords much more difficult than simply writing them on a piece of paper and keeping it in my desk. This was expensive and difficult to learn to use, when competitors seem to be getting easier to use. | |

2025-01-11 | T Storm | en | I've been having issues with Bitdefender Password Manager and had an opened ticket for months. Then, they finally sent me an email to say that it was replaced by Secure Pass. What a nightmare. I have downloaded Secure Pass to my mobile and desktop. I managed to enter some information to the app on my mobile but nothing was syncing to my desktop. Now neither one works - all of a sudden, I am being asked for a Master Password which I don't recall ever doing and if I don't have master password, I need a recovery key which I don't recall ever getting. I contacted Bitdefender and I was told that if I don't have either of those, that I would have to reset Secure Pass and would lose all data that was entered. Now I have another opened ticket and waiting for a response. By reading all of the reviews, sounds like Secure Pass should not have been launched until all of the kinks were fixed. | |

Annoying to use as it logs you out often and then the only way to get back on is by entering multiple passwords. No biometrics. Il y a de belle fonctionnalités, mais je n'ai pas confiance au niveau de la sécurité de cette application. Avec le password manager, on demande un mot de passe à chaque nouvelle session de Chrome pour démarrer le gestionnaire de mot de passe, ce qui est sécuritaire. Avec secure pass, il n'y a aucun mot de passe demandé! Ceci veut dire qu'une personne qui a accès à mon compte google semble avoir accès à tous mes mots de passe. De plus, Bitdefender ne donne presque pas d'information à ce sujet. Je ne l'utiliserai pas pour une question de sécurité. Assez déçu. |
