2018-09-30 | Robin Brown | en | Works well for me on Windows 10 Version 1803 and Chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit). The only thing I had to do was to use the Cast item in the chrome menu to select the device to cast to, PictaCast shows an error on startup as it seems to be unable to activate the cast to form. Reloading does not fix the problem, here is the error message: "An error occurred while connecting to your Chromecast device. Please reload this page to try again." It's no big deal for me and otherwise works fine.
2018-02-10 | Carolyn McNall | en | doesn't stick to the 5 second limit some photos displayed for as long as 35 s (according to the counting timer on the laptop) before next photo showed. Then stalled about half way through my slide show 3x in a row as I tried to share holiday pics on my TV. very frustrating plugin.
2018-01-17 | Marc Law | en | It's excatly what I was looking for so I bought it but now it keeps on crashing and sometimes not even starting at all. Kinda disappointed.
2017-12-15 | Tony Lew | en | Listen, there's a company that wants $300 A MONTH for a program that will scan a folder and then send to chromecast. This was $3 and all it took was some thinking to make it run fine. (start app, start the native cast button in chrome. done.) You all look silly complaining about a $3 program that does what it says it does. Wow!
2017-09-09 | Allan Lewis | en | Generally, It is very good but it does have a few problems, unless it is me having finger trouble! 1) I get mysterious crashes. It stops working altogether, it just will not load then after I try the free trial version & find that to be working, I return to the paid for version & find that it is working again. 2) It just will not display any panoramic pictures that I have taken, There is just a black screen for 5 seconds. SUCH A SHAME. 3) The "Crop to fit" mode seems a bit drastic. It seems to make a random decision to just show the centre portion of some pictures which were all taken using same aspect ratio camera settings. 4)It is a shame that I have to load individual tracks from my music files and am not able to load albums or playlists. To summarise , I like it a lot. Using it on my Windows 10 laptop I find that the results are infinitely better than casting from my android phone or tablet .
2017-06-18 | Andre Williamson | en | Errors from the get go. $3 wasted.
2017-06-10 | Dnash Official | en | very buggy, connection problems, could not "go back" to next picture, and an inability to pick or control any picture you specifically wanted. at best it "does what is advertised", but at worst you spend more time than you can afford trying to make it accomplish basic 101 functions.
2017-06-03 | Bill C | en | I want my money back. It works ok on the trial. Buy the application and it crashes constantly. |
