2023-07-24 | Tyler Reed | At first glance, it looks great. However, once you start building larger Alpine components, the extension locks up the browser due to extremely poor performance. It eventually gets the job done, but I find myself waiting *minutes* sometimes just to expand an element in the extension. It's not very usable for me, and I'll be looking for alternative options. | ||

2023-07-13 | Bartek Igielski | The development tools are disappointingly basic, restricted to just managing component state with no support for stores or events, and they lack the ability to inspect what's registered globally. Even these basic features perform mediocrely – the tools often run slow and require frequent restarts. The user interface is also uninspiring. What's more concerning is that there appears to be no ongoing development or improvement. There hasn't been a single update in the past two years. |
