2019-08-11 Juhani Pirinen It is a great idea begin to manage bookmarks rather in Evernote instead of Chrome. This app lacks documentation, so I write a little how it worked. I don't have very sensitive things in my Chrome or Evernote, so I had courage to try. After installation, I had to give this app's Heroku website permissions to access Evernote account. After it, nothing happened. I had to close the browser and open it again, give permissions again, and then I saw "Loading your bookmarks!" on screen. After a while, app had created "Bookmarks" notebook to Evernote and each bookmark became a note. Bookmark title became a note title and content of note included only a link (only bookmark title visible). If you're not happy with results, it is easy to delete Bookmarks-notebook including all bookmark-notes. There was no opportunity to choose what bookmarks I wish to import or how to automatically categorize/tag them. I couldn't import bookmarks folder structure; at least it would have been useful to use folder names as tags, etc. When there is no url visible in bookmark-notes, I can't search bookmarks from Evernote by url name, only by link title that often is not so informative. Either this app doesn't load websites behind links to Evernote. If you need better results, using Evernote clipper might be better, but slowlier. If you wish to import only certain bookmark folders and/or put all bookmarks of each folder into the same note, it is possible use browser's bookmarks export-feature that generates a local html-file that is easy to save to Evernote.
