| 2024-12-11 |  | | ja | VPNは便利だが、使用には注意が必要です。 この拡張機能はVPNをオンにしていなくても、位置情報をアメリカ合衆国に偽装します。 そのため、拡張機能を有効化しているだけで、正確な位置情報が取得できなくなります。 これがWeb検索には大きな支障になります。 例えば、日本語ページを検索したくてGoogle検索を使用しても、頻繁に英語のページがヒットするようになります。 また、Google Mapなどの位置情報が重要なサービスの利便性が大きく低下します。 位置情報の問題を解決するにはこの拡張機能を無効化するしかありません。 位置情報の問題に目を瞑るにしても、検索エンジンをGoogleにしている場合は google.co.jpを検索対象に変更するなどの対応をしないといけなくなる点は非常に面倒です。 いずれにしても、Google検索の性能が著しく低下するので、使う場合はそれを踏まえて利用すべきです。 |

Every time I attempt to do so, my Wi-Fi automatically disconnects as well. I recommend that the ExpressVPN team address this issue to improve the user experience. |

Google maps stopped working recently and always show Washington DC, which is the default when location service is not working in Chrome.
