| 2024-08-27 |  | | en | it would seem that this extension has not been tested. my guess is that it was designed to be difficult to use. from what I can see, the description of "generate any content" is fundamentally misleading. the only valid instructions that I have been able to find are from natalia in the comment below this. for me, on 2024-08-27, this extension was backed with google gemini. would suggest the following to just test it out: (I tried opera, firefox, chrome and edge), all same result. 1. use any browser and visit: https://gemini.google.com/?hl=en 2. sign into google account. ([Sign in] button shown if not already signed in) 3. at the bottom of the page, replace the text "Enter a prompt here". for example, try each of these 3a. what is the best taco 3b. what is the best taco stand 3c. what is the best taco stand in new york 3d. dry water space kiwi 3e. write a story about the 2020 presidential election in us results are interesting, but not as advertised, lots of responses "I can't help" |

After some searching, I found that it had to be downloaded through an extension. Then, to open it, I had to be logged into the Chrome browser. I then had to look in Chrome extensions and add it to the top left menu strip. Once I did that, Help Me Write showed up on the right-click menu. Tried looking in these reviews for help with all this, so sharing what I learned. Now I'm ready to start using it, maybe will rate again if it's good. Good luck! |

I googled the above error message and only got one hit (!?!). No help there. Then, I even asked Bard what to do, and it said to log out of Chrome (and re-login), and clear the cashe & etc etc. No joy. Now what? |
