This extension is one of the best I have ever used to learn languages (and more than one at the same time). I love how you can not only save words, but it creates flashcards as well. Even more awesome is that it highlights the words you previously saved on future web pages that you browse. The one and only (very minor) issue I had is that I couldn't get the popup to appear using Microsoft Surface screen keyboard. It would be useful to customize the shortcut (for example, Highlight + [Hotkey]). The extension is also free, but I would be more than willing to pay for it. Thank you to the developer! | |

This is the best add-on I've ever used for this functionality(memorizing vocabulary during surfing). Here are several key features making it stand out from its competitors: - Choosing one meaning from several meanings. Many other software just provide multiple meanings at the same time, which is not desired in most cases. - Flashcards for reviewing. It has an Anki-like flashcard system, which will help you memorize the vocabularies in an efficient way. Still, there are some issues: - Does not support selecting words from subtitles on Youtube or Netflix. - Cannot automatically extract the original form of a word. Nevertheless, it is by now my most satisfactory extension for this purpose. | |
