For some reason 'rich text' copying has become the norm, which means that if you just want to copy some text or a word, you also get the entire formatting, hyperlinks, etc. with it, which is rarely what you want. Rather than undoing the unnecessary formatting in the editor you pasted the text in, this extension (which should be the default behaviour...) saves you all that pain and agony. |

I really like using this extension and I use it daily. I'm always copying web text to put into emails or documents. Before finding this app, I had to copy and put into notepad and recopy from notepad to be able to have unformatted text. This makes the process so much more simple. It works. Thanks |
