| 2022-07-26 |  | | Strangely similar to other tools, but slightly improved. First, this needs to retain shapes / markup between page changes and reloads. It is not possible to use to redact information if you're using it for sharing things wherein you need to create, for example, a rectangle over sensitive information for a screencast. This simply cannot be used and it's unfortunate. Second, there should be a quick deactivate function so that when you make drawing changes or redactions and markup it should switch back to the cursor for actual normal web usage. Third, the control buttons/elements of the UI sporadically disappear and all turn white such that one cannot see any of the tools or interface controls of Paint Tool any longer and only a refresh of the page brings them back, which then kinda screws up the UX/workflow in a serious way. Promising, but work and testing is needed to refine. | |
