| 2024-03-25 |  | | en | This extension doesn't work. There are some errors in the code that aren't allowing it to open, however, if you use the bookmarklet found here (https://recordseek.com/get_started/) and drag it to your bookmark bar, then it works like a charm. |

I keep checking back, & every time it's worse. To be clear, it has not worked at all for a long time, but here it still is. Now it does not even try to start. I don't know why they don't remove it if they're not going to fix it. Then we at least know for sure. I suspect they, much like others have perfected the app here for free, then sold it, which is why it doesn''t work and hasn't worked for quite some time. I'm done waiting. My advice, don't bother. | |

But like several other reviewers, it stopped working because RecordSeek has let their certificate lapse and hasn't renewed it. Because of that, Chrome blocks access to recordseek.com too, so there's no way to contact them other than through reviews. And even before this error started recording, it wouldn't add sources to Ancestry, just to FamilySearch.
