Statt dass sich ein Aufnahmeoverlay zeigt, werde ich zur Webseite von Vimeo weitergeleitet, wo ich eine Aufnahme starten kann. Die nimmt aber trotz Wahl der Option "Gesamter Bildschirm" nur den Tab auf, in dem die Video Webseite angezeigt wird. Aufnahmeversuch anderer Tabs: schwarzer Bildschirm in Aufnahmevideo. Schade, war vorher ein gutes Tool.

This new iteration though... Yeah, I'm sorry, it's so confusing, I tried. I swear. But it's so unnervingly hard to understand. I've been trying for months, and I'm sorry, but who gave the green flag-pole-sitta to this?

    Adam Teece    		 en I am a Vimeo Pro subscriber and absolutely loved the extension before the October 2024 update. Now the extension is just a link to page on Vimeo. Utterly useless extension now. The extension just takes you to https://vimeo.com/record/start-recording so don't bother installing an extension if you can just go to the link.

    Kim Griffin    		 en Hate the update - used to be able to record whilst presenting with Canva in Meet - massive issues tonight as I couldn't use the camera/mic in two different tabs AND I couldn't share the screen with Meet, as I had to share it in Vimeo. Had to abort my recording whilst presenting live, and now have to re-do the presentation to record it. Please bring back the option to directly record an existing tab within chrome. Currently looking for another screen recorder option :( 11 Nov 24 update - I have managed to record and share screen in meet (not sure if this was changed Vimeo's end as really struggled to do this the first time - incredibly frustrated that there was no email to advise of update) - however the new set up doesn't work for me. It is too heavy on bandwidth and if I try to record the video, everything just lags - so I can now only record my presentation and audio. Looking for a different solution - annoyingly as it used to work so well.
