zh 钱包需要手动输入助记词验证,殊不知助记词暴露时间越长越危险,这只会提高使用门槛,密码非常复杂,连我自己都记不住的密码有毛用?一个助记词对应一个钱包,提高了复杂性

en First of all, let me be clear: I don’t think this is a scam. But if I ever use an Arweave non-custodial wallet again, I will likely look elsewhere. Here is my story... In summer 2023 I funded an address with AR via ArConnect. Weeks/months later, there was a "migration" that occurred for the wallet. I don't recall precisely what I did, or what I was supposed to do during the migration, perhaps I was inebriated, perhaps I created a new password then forgot it (that could be part of it), but some time later I tried to access the wallet and it didn't work. I went to the discord to troubleshoot, and after trying to recover it via the seed phrase, deleting the wallet and reinstalling it, trying my seed phrase on another wallet provider, trying the old version on Mozilla…nothing. It appeared that the seed phrase I thought was attached to the address I initially funded was not attached to that address but to some other address with 0 AR. I'm still not 100% sure what happened. I'm not ruling out user error. Maybe I messed up. But I'm not ruling out dev error or just confusing UI - because I’ve seen multiple people in the discord with similar issues. So a part of me wants to give 1 star. But maybe I'm being too harsh. Always ensuring that the seed phrase for the wallet you're funding actually recovers *that* wallet is a good practice for users - for sure. If it never was associated with the wallet I funded, that's on me. But perhaps some valid feedback for devs building wallets is to make it virtually impossible for a user (naive or not) to accidentally fund an address that is not associated with their seed or key file. Google says to give 1 star if you "Hated It". Hate's a strong word. And I don't wish the dev team ill. I'm giving 2 stars because though I may feel the need to give 1 star, I’m discounting that with the possibility that I’m super-duper-giga-dumb. Maybe. But also, maybe not. If Phantom wallet has fewer stars than ArConnect (albeit with a larger sample size) and people say it is one of the best wallets in the industry, then I could be doing my part to provide signal to future users with a 1 star rating. I might not provide such a rating if the initial rating of the wallet was ~ 1 star, for example. Even so…I may give 2 stars. We’ll see. Writing this before I will submit a review. Ok, 2 stars it is. If I could give 1.5 or 1.3 I might. as that might more accurately reflect my discounting. P.S. I had been sitting on this review for months but I occasionally look at the discord and I’ve seen mods put people with problems on read-only, and now problems are dealt with via private support tickets instead not hashing it out on the forums…and, well, this irked me because if lots of people have 1 class of problem it’s now harder to tell (arguably). So, alas, and regardless whether I am too tilted after losing a material amount of money or too heavily discounting my desire to give a one star review with other potential factors, here ends my review. Conflicted Regards, Shannon

I will be excited to use this app after it support Ledger hardware wallets (Ledger Nano S/+ devices support Arweave). The design looks nice and it might be a good product, but it is a "hard no" to ask me to type in my seed into the browser extension. I've been building in crypto for years and never heard of Keystone, so unsure why the team chose to prioritize that hardware wallet integration.
