en The clicking tool seems to click lower than I am programming it to so keeps missing the buttons i'm trying to press, any tips. Also cant seem to get the typing feature to work... But i like it for the scrolling element.

en That is an awesome tool, thank you Patrick! Just as a feature request in case you think, similar to scroll target detection, you can add an element detector to only capture this element or this part of website on video recording.

en I have never seen a better app than this. Patrick Matte, please don’t stop improving Scroll Capture. And please consider adding the ability for the cursor to move in real-time. I would like to record a desktop version where the cursor moves and clicks, and for the mobile version, I’d like to see a circle instead of the cursor. This would be perfect. Perhaps it could be possible to add JavaScript support in the settings to allow users to customize global settings on their own

en Phenomenal tool. Covers a very specific problem that no other tool has covered, that I've found. Trying to record website presentations to show on a portfolio is super tricky usually. The recording is never smooth or accurate, and no matter how nice and fancy the website itself is — it never looks good. This tool gives you an animation toolkit, similar to Webflow Interactions, and allows you to do your web designs justice, sometimes even elevating them a touch too. Doesn't always work how you want it, but that's the nature of the web. Sometimes hover effects or button clicks are initiated in a non-standard way and using mouseover or clicks don't always work, so sometimes you have to get a little creative. I've recently used the CSS injection step to toggle the cursor between None and Auto so that I can see the cursor for a second to click a button, or do an interaction manually, and then toggle the cursor back off and continue the animation. Great work!

en This is fantastic! Are there any plans to open-source the project? I’d love to contribute! One feature I’d love to see is the ability to define scroll amounts using units like rem, vw, and vh, instead of being limited to just pixel values.

en The app is great ! BUT, on Gmail, I'm having a hard time making a JPG screenshot of a scrolling webpage 🤔 As of now, (1) either it screenshots the page whitout scrolling (when selecting "documentElement") … which is not what I want, or, (2) if I select the other proposition of the extension (in my case it looked something like "div.Nu.S3.aZ6#:1h"), well … it hides the mouse and the scrollbars, the extension icon stays red … and nothing else happens until I reload the page ( ^ᴗ^)'

en This is exactly what I needed. A fabulous tool and long overdue... I would have given 5 stars if I could figure out how to demonstrate rollover effects and if the "mouse gesture" worked for me too. Unfortunately, the red cursor in the tutorial video disappears once my mouse is moved off of the "scroll capture" window.
