en This program is very good to recognize chinese characters. It has helped me recover quite a bit of lost Chinese. That said, the promotion and advertising has gotten quite a bit out of hand - especially when you have headphones in (the ad is pretty much screaming in your ears to sign up)... I am also out..

en This is a great program to learn to recognise and read characters... and then type them in pinyin, which is very useful if you just want to be able to type in Chinese. My problem is that the App stopped working correctly. I am frozen at 206 unlocked words with 78.9% correct. I can still type and learn but no new words are added and the % never changes. This was never addressed and I see now this requires a monthly membership fee now. I'm out.

en Real good to practice the basics! Speaking part of it isn't too great, some tones incorrect but the character / flashcard section is great for beginners. Some characters may get repetitive which could be a waste of time for some but I suppose it's only really beneficial. Good app!

en I liked the dictionary but the flashcards were worse than useless; they were often wrong and the choice of vocabulary was questionable. It doesn't adapt to your learning speed as it advertises unless you buy the big version.
