Let's start with the pros: *It tells you the origin of the word, like whether it's Latin, French, etc. *It has multiple meanings for a word. The cons (which outweigh the pros unfortunately): *The definitions tend to have very advanced or complex words. Dictionaries should always have simple definitions. That's the point of dictionaries. *The definitions are laid out in a 'thesaurus manner'. Words followed by commas. Barely any sentences. *A lot of words seem to be missing. | |
