| 2021-04-07 |  | | I can see how to use this tool educationally, but the fact that it's paid just goes to show that this is a tool of cheating. The top-1 comment is a 5 star rating from a guy who pays happily because this tool allows them to play against genuine honest players. Of course, this tool is already broadly available to everybody, all they need to cheat is a cellphone to check with an engine. But there's something about having it so ready for the cheater who is paying a subscription and because there's a cost under it, they feel compelled to use this dishonest tool to make the value worth. The worst of all is that people really do believe that they are educating themselves by watching a computer play their moves. And don't get it wrong, the 2500 rating limit is not to disencourage cheaters, is to decrease computational power: hence, costs. | |
