PixelBlock 2 is a Gmail extension that blocks people from tracking when you open/read their emails. A fork of the original.

2018-11-25 | Benjamin Fletcher | I agree it needs a quick toggle and some more advanced settings (e.g. allowing images from certain domains) so it doesn't block all images (often images in emails are important content). Whether the improved privacy is worth the hassle of disabling and reloading is personal preference; for me it's not, until the extension has finer controls.

2018-09-07 | David Burgess | I like what it does, but I wish there was a way to toggle per email rather than just all on or all off. Sometimes I get an email with images in it that I can see anything in and it's a pain to go turn the plugin off, then go back and reload my email and then go turn the plugin back on. A toggle would be SUPER helpful.
