2023-05-02	Frode Ekensköld	Used to be so good, I could edit anything using Sumopaint and was using it on a daily basis for 3+ years!!! Then they released the new version and now its COMPLETE TRASH. So many bugs and crashes. Simple things as adding a text and editing it, is now HORRIBLE. Everything that I loved has been smashed to pieces. Not sure what the developers was thinking... I've been coming back to give it another shot a few times since the new release. But It doesn't get any better... It's a shame... I still have the old version installed on my computer but I can't use it as I need to "login" which doesn't work anymore unfortunatly... Used to be 10/10, now 1/10, would not recommend it to anyone. There are better options out there!
2023-04-26	Wilhelm Eberhard	So far, I'm impressed. I still have to get used to all the features, but the user interfase has been very easy to understand, and the app works very well. The free version limits the number of layers one can create, but all the blending modes and tools seem to be available, and you can log in with your Google account, save in the cloud and share your work in Facebook or other sites. I'm looking forward to try the other Sumo apps, especially Sumo Code.
2022-07-14	Master A	I have been using this art application for over 4 years and have enjoyed it for what it is. Sure, there were some save problems and some crashes but all I had to do was remember to save. However with the new version of Sumopaint, Sumopaint X, it has removed 3 of my favourite (and most basic) tools that you could use. The circle tool, the line tool, and finally the curve tool. I used solely these three tools for every piece I have made for 4 years and all of them are gone. Thank you Sumopaint, you have literally thrown away every single tool I ever used and rendered your program absolutely useless to me. I'll come back when you add those tools back. (Which is most likely never)

2021-12-11	skeebis	Sumopaint, oh wow buddy. It used to be cool, but now it can't even save my images without converting them into "Sumo files". I recommend using paint.js.org or gimp or ms paint. The pay part is also kinda dog shizzle. Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide yourself from this.

2021-03-31	Draakvis	The app is great honestly there are just a few things I don't really like about it, first of all when I want to change the size or opacity for the lines it just doesn't work, also when I was first using the pen or something, it would always go like and inch away from where I wanted to draw (I'm using a drawing tablet so I don't know if that has anything to do with it) and I think it's really dumb that you need "pro" to be able to use more layers and to pixelate things.
2021-01-25	Cy. Le	I really dislike the new update. I'm trying the free trial and now it wont let me cancel my subscription for this program. It takes me to a 404 error message when I click downgrade. Please hotfix this error immediately!!
2021-01-23	LXP Art & Music	was a long time user before the new update (2.0) The new 'upgrades' to the sumopaint tool make it practically unusable. They removed some of the best tools from the original online version. Also they added in a tonne of stuff no one asked for. Photo editor, DAW to create music, movie editor, code editor and even a 3D editor. Also if you ever encounter ANY problems with anything from this developer they DO NOT reply to any emails that you send them! Be warned & stay away.

When I go click to cancel subscription its loads a 404 page error message and doesnt do anything else! Please fix this problem immediately! I do not want to pay for this program any longer! Help!

2021-01-17	Rachel Li	This is amazing! Although people say you have to pay for everything, I didn't need to pay for any of the tools. It was very easy to use, with a large variety of fancy tools. Sumopaint helped me improve my art so quickly(I use a drawing tablet), it was amazing! I'd definitely recommend.
2020-10-31	Pharoah Graham	Not only do almost NONE of the tools actually work and instead they opt out for working as alternative color pickers, but it seems to crash a lot on my Samsung Chromebook 3. What a load. Oh, that's right. IMAGES DON'T save either!!! SO it's effectively a waste of time!!
