en | The concept is good, but this extension uses up far, far too many resources. On the website, when there are no surveys available, it would forward to a simple website text page that said no surveys available and to try back later. In the extension, it just keeps showing a spinning logo and constantly trying to find new surveys that aren't there, taking up a lot of resources. After troubleshooting why my browser (Chrome) and computer (modern) kept freezing up, I found that it all ties back to this Survey Junkie extension. When I uninstalled it and used the regular Survey Junkie website, everything is fine. When I run the extension again for a short time, my browser freezes up and eventually my entire computer freezes/lags with plenty of memory and processing power. Usually to the point where I have to turn the computer off with a hard reset via the power button. Why? System resources point to the browser using a ridiculous amount of resources for a particular window - the window with Survey Junkie open. This needs work. It's going to make a lot of people mad. |
