en | Well, I don't want to say "scam" or "trash" with respect to the developer, but... it often stops working and it is always very slow. I'd recommend "ESUIT | Delete My Activity for Facebook" instead. I paid for "Delete My..." but, to be honest, I'm regretting it. |

en | Been wanting to remove FB for a hot minute. Discovered this add-on and gave the trial a shot. It worked fine so I went ahead and paid the 10 bucks to have unlimited removing. I'm glad I did it. Here's My Experience: 1. Facebook as a whole has become a glitchy mess at best, so when you go to delete stuff, sometimes things won't get recognized and you'll have to scrub it away manually. 2. The add-on itself likes to be on top of the screen to run at its smoothest and fastest capacity 3. You can run MULITIPLE SESSIONS by running the add-on on either different tasks OR the same task but different years. This add-on is not resource intensive so one can in theory run multiple sessions at once. The more monitors you work with, the more sessions you can run simultaneously, just be sure not to go too crazy with it otherwise Facebook will get triggered with its anti-bot system and put a "temporary block" on your activities which then you got to wait out or at least do some other activity such as unadd friends, delete pictures / videos, etc. 4. It's slow on purpose to avoid triggering the anti-bot system, the best way to operate this is to run your sessions before doing some other tasks, and then check up on it whenever you have time. If you've been using the service over a decade and have been posting and doing lots of activities, then this process WILL TAKE TIME, be patient, and watch some videos or read a book in front of the monitor. 5. Last but not least, be sure go back and double-check stuff manually, sometimes things don't get picked up, not sure why, but sometimes it won't go away unless you manually do so. This was far and few in between and overall helped me delete thousands of thousands of posts, comments, group stuff, you name it over the course of over a decade. Hopefully this helps some people out when it comes to taking their privacy into their own hands. Best of luck to you all, don't be afraid to do what's best for you either! |
