Specifically, the permission is described as "Change your settings that control websites' access to features such as cookies, JavaScript, plugins, geolocation, microphone, camera etc.". Why is this needed for a medium.com clapping extension? If it actually is necessary for the extension's functioning, the extension description should really explain what it's needed for.
