2016-11-08 | Andrew Winegarner | Excellent as a sort of flashcard implementation. Obviously not good for actual reading since it is still in english grammar format etc. But as far as ensuring you see recently learning words, it is excellent. | ||
2016-05-03 | Jason Rashall | Solid extension, good for remembering vocab and getting proficient at reading quickly. I haven't used the personal vocab lists or tables yet but they seem like they add a lot to the extension. I would highly recommend this extension to anybody using Wanikani. A few things that could be improved on: 1. Blacklist and/or overrides (use a certain meaning over another) for certain words/kanji for words that consistently aren't making contextual sense 2. Increased information shown when hovering above a kanji/vocab such as the reading (hiragana) 3. The ability to click Wanikanified words to bring you to the Wanikani info page for that kanji/vocab With these few added features, this extension could go from a good one to a great one. -1 star for lack of above features. EDIT: Using Rikaikun, #2/3 are resolved. |
