2024-09-10 | Taylor Mefford | en | Definitely seems like a work in progress. Here are my observations: -Google sign-in does not work, so I had to sign in with regular username and password. -Changing the settings on the extension to allow the EHR to access the AutoNotes did not appear to work at first (the slider was grayed out), but restarting the browser addressed the issue. -Seems to work as advertised, adding a little icon to the side of the text box that you can click on, opening a miniature window with the AutoNotes UI. It's not really any different than just keeping AutoNotes open in a different tab, except that you can directly import the text of the note into the dialogue box you've selected. It's a difference of clicking one button and clicking a button then copy-pasting. -Imported or copy-pasted text has a bunch of line breaks. This is generally fine, but doesn't save time and creates more work. -One of the settings sliders in the extension is supposed to filter favorite note templates. This setting does not save across notes. When I complete a note in my EHR and then move on to the next note, I need to go into the extension settings and toggle that setting again. If I need to toggle the setting every time, it doesn't make life any easier. I think I will uninstall until I know this extension works as it should. It ultimately creates more work than just going to the AutoNotes site directly.

2024-08-28 | Geralt Tomlinson | en | Helped me to ease my workflow, i can work faster and more efficiently now. Also the presets feature is very handy - when i have a patient that comes in regularly, i can just save so much time by creating a preset for him. I have been using the AutoNotes browser extension for just about a week now, and honestly it's a game changer. Anyone working in the medical/treatment industry should try this out.
