LDS Tools: Chrome Extension for Easy Access to LDS.org Tools

'LDS Tools' is a Chrome extension serving as an easy and quick link to the LDS.org member and leader tools page. Using Google's Chrome App Developer, it can be anchored to your Chrome OS shelf or your Chrome web browser's App Drawer. It functions independently in its own app window. The latest version has made significant improvements by eliminating needless permissions, with location services being an exception to facilitate the 'Maps' tool.

This app is a simple shortcut to the LDS Tools webpage so you can pin the app/shortcut to your shelf in Chrome OS or in your App Drawer in Chrome web browser. Enjoy.

Note: the package size is due to using Google's Chrome App Developer, which includes many unused features but allows this app to operate in its own app window.

Update: version 0.2.2 eliminates the requests for useless permissions. Location services are to support the "Maps" tool.

Outstanding app, really helpful.

Love it, keeps everyone's contact information available to me at all times.

The old ward directories were always out of date in a very short time, LDS Tools keeps records that are always up to date. That is a tremendous help for callings requiring frequent contacting various ward members.
