2022-11-15	Google User	Fast support, terrible extension. Doesn't work to prevent malware from malicious sites. I tested this extension with eicar malware test site. The extension showed that the site was malicious a few seconds later. Little did I know you need to have the Bitwarden client installed on your PC (more on this later). Extension doesn't prevent infection without the client installed. Taken at face value, this extension is supposed to block the attack BEFORE it gets into my system. In other words, I had already been "infected" even though Trafficlight says it was blocked, but in reality it wasn’t. This was tested on several W10 &W11 systems, running on virtual machines and actual consumer desktops (not Enterprise). Bitwarden Traffic extenstion description fails to mention that you need to have Bitdefender client installed. Only after you reach out to support do they say this works alongside the Bitdefender client (installed on your PC); hence, no protection without the client. Extension has a list of sites (which is largely based on Google's list) and then flags or blocks them. You can't block domains, only individual websites. For instance domain *.xyz is a malicious domain but Trafficlight does not give the user the option to block it. It's a fairly new domain and Bitdefender Trafficlight fails to detect and block this domain. Extension hasn't been updated since August. For malware preventions, this is unacceptable. In summary, beware of sophist's reviews especially reviews written like ads. This extension is like a vehicle laser radar detectors . Only AFTER you are hit is there a reaction, sometimes not at all. Not recommended. Yet foolish and gullible people think it works otherwise. Uninstalled.

Houve casos, no passado, de não detectar a ameaça, mas o programa detectou. Tenho assinatura Total Security e dessa nada tenho a reclamar, além de não ser tão leve para o meu dispositivo, mas é tiro e queda. Já me salvou de poucas e boas. Uso no Brave como uma proteção a mais, já que é o navegador que utilizado para entra no campo de batalha. Norton Lifelock/safesearch faz muito barulho por nada na maior parte dos casos, mas parece mais atualizado.

Bitdefender is focused on protection at the front door, not allowing bad actors inside . Five stars, and thank you for helping me keep safe!

2022-09-05	Die Never	I used this Traffic Light over 2 years and i fell ok about this. It block all the malware, trojan, PUPs, etc from page. But it don't block the download ( i test EICAR file, it blocks the page that pop up but it doesn't block the download so -1 star). I have try unistall my bitdefender total security and reset the browser but it work normally (Also try on new computer). Some guys say it doesn't block .xyz domain but xyz domains are 100% legit and are categorized as top-level domains. Only about 80% of them in 2022 is toxic :) but being block almost in my test (23/25). So trust it:)

2022-06-13	WebDig PT	This extension is a unique error, as it considers sites that are clean, but once had problems, as suspicious, and considers contaminated sites to be safe. We send feedback from really safe sites, which shouldn't be regarded as suspicious, but the feedback is zero and it misleads most people. Support is zero, a scan site for us to test doesn't exist, the whole process is horrible. I got to the point of downloading all the sites and running with BitDefender antivirus and not accusing anything, I did the same on other computers with other antivirus and the result was the same. Nothing suspicious was found. I copied the sites to other domains within the same server and traffic light considers them clean. End this extension, restore the truth, this extension has already cost me dozens of hours of work and hundreds of euros.
2022-03-10	平井伸治	Looking at the browser's task manager, memory usage is low immediately after startup, but more than doubles after half a day of use. I have a feeling this is a problem with the extension, because there are extensions that do not increase memory usage.

2021-11-20	Lethallan	Honestly - does more harm than good. Its protection might be good, but you wouldn't know it from the amount of false-positives it spews out. It blocks every website whose certificate "could not be verified"; apparently, it's about every third site on the internet. In short - unless you're really obsessive with security, skip this one and find another extension.

One thing to note is that this breaks duckduckgo search engine, as when you click on the search item, it directs you to a bitdefender page not the actual site.
