McAfee Web Advisor For Mac protects your Mac from online threats, called web-based threats, when you browse sites. The software monitors each site that you access or browse, validates its safety ratings, and allows or blocks the site according to the configuration. McAfee Web Advisor For Mac provides safety ratings at two levels. In the browser, the software: • Displays a safety rating icon for each site that the search engine lists • Displays a safety rating button for each site The default setting blocks access to malicious sites that can harm your Mac. This extension is provided by McAfee and it works in conjunction with the McAfee Live Safe product.	Venus is an extension for accessing CyberMiles enabled distributed applications, or "Dapps" in your normal Chrome browser! The extension injects the CyberMiles web3 API into every website's javascript context, so that dapps can read from the blockchain. Venus also lets the user create and manage their own identities, so when a Dapp wants to perform a transaction and write to the blockchain, the user gets a secure interface to review the transaction, before approving or rejecting it. Because it adds functionality to the normal browser context, Venus requires the permission to read and write to any webpage.
