2024-01-24 | porg | en | Thanks for offering this! Really great to have it! Proposed Improvements ## I) More efficient user flow for exporting files Currently: 1) ExtensionButton → 2) UI opens in place → [ Save as… ] button on bottom → Click on desired format: TXT, MD, JSON, HTML, … I had a more efficient flow in mind (UI tweaks + user assignable shortcuts). Let's get in contact if interested to hear more on my ideas. ## II) Preserve Rich Text Formatting Currently it is defacto only plaintext plus headings for "Human" and "Bard" inserted inbetween. A lot more which could easily be preserved in MarkDown and HTML would be desirably, most importantly: Numbered/bulleted lists, including indentation. Font: Bold, italics, underline. Code as Block or Inline. Quote blocks. ## III) Optional Title and Date integration into the 1) file content in the top area (title as main headline and date/time as sub-heading) 2) metadata sections for file formats where supported (e.g. HTML HEAD or XML) 3) file name as a configurable token. ## For best practises See the chatgpt-exporter UserScript which gets injected to the ChaptGPT web app UI during runtime via the TamperMonkey browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) which you can find on Github. https://github.com/pionxzh/chatgpt-exporter
2023-12-14 | WildManDan | en | Well I like it. I think it was useful
2023-10-31 | Thomas Schittli Akros | It looks great, but unfortunately, it just exports 278 characters of the Google Bard Answer. Therefore, it is useless :-(
2023-09-18 | Neil Moore | It immediately takes me to a website asking me to allow notifications. Sketch. I had to reinstall the extension just to submit this review. Use caution people. This extension might try to get you to agree to a constant bombardment of ads and then one thing leads to another, and eventually you have a virus or worse, your personal info is stolen. Don't risk it.
2023-07-25 | Gabriel Mz | Nice extension! It works well for me
2023-07-07 | Lawrence San | I installed this in Chrome on my Mac. First I was confused because there's no icon to invoke it. Then I found I could right-click and tell it to download the Bard chat, but no matter what format I choose, it does nothing. When I tell it to export to the clipboard, it just exports the name of the extension. As far as I can tell, this is useless garbage, at least in Mac Chrome.
2023-06-12 | Cassondra Jackson | I downloaded this extension so I could copy all of the Bard conversations. After installing it, I immediately began receiving Chrome virus alert pop-ups. Now I have to run scans and figure out how to stop these stupid pop-ups. If I could rate this app 0 stars, I would!
2023-05-26 | Terje Oseberg | This extension is able to save my Bard chats as HTML, but it doesn't format code in those chats correctly. It appears to remove all formatting from the questions and answers in the chat. Below is an example: Bard Download Chat Chrome Plug-in https://youtu.be/SJ69KVdWuKY I installed this plugin in Microsoft Edge, not Chrome. It would be nice if it copied the formatting from Bard rather than using a formatting that looks like text messaging. Maybe you could look at the device and choose a wider formatting if the device is a computer and a narrow formatting if the device is a phone. Or you can let the user choose in the extension settings. |
