You can (easly) set the short cut in (chrome) extensions manager and use the key board short cut to mute individual full screen windows (this helps if you have multiple vidoe feeds and you want to mute each one separately). BIG Thank you Ash Holland! (P.S. What's another word for donkey? --Marty Bass(see comment below) is just a dumb stupid Donkey Hole who doesn't know what it's talking about.) |

| 2024-09-24 |  | | en | FYI - This extension is NOT currently needed as this feature was re-added back to Google Chrome in version 100 on March 29, 2022. On Chrome versions 100-135+ you can enable it by going to "chrome://flags" and changing "#enable-tab-audio-muting" to Enabled. It's true that this flag could be removed in the future, but I think it's unlikely within the next year.
