| 2015-02-03 |  | | en | Incredibly fun + engaging to play, with poignant moments that really do make you feel like you're a knight with a family to look after and a kingdom to protect. It's set in a fantasy world but it still mirrors our medieval history regarding the realities of how knights + kingdoms exist - so due to historical accuracy- you have to play this game as male main character. HOWEVER it doesn't limit your experience, I'm a woman + I was still able to completely relate to my main character. Personally I found it really fun + refreshing being able to just go into battle, save the kingdom, have affairs with princesses + see things from a male perspective from that sort of patriachal society - much more fun than reading another soppy Philipa Gregory novel. |
