"Show icons instead of thumbnails" - maybe make that setting the default? one question - would it ever be possible for the subfolders to display a 3x3 grid of the first 9 icons that they contain? kind of like an app folder? thank you! also, for sustainability, would you ever open-source this app and release it to github? its so good. and/or maybe you should have a tip-jar for yourself, hire some other people to continue your work in case of emergency or something. it reminds me of how good "Favorites - New Tab Page" is, but favorites new tab page - I cannot reach the developer for them to update their extension. I'm glad and grateful that you are still actively updating this. just wouldn't want to see something similar ever happen to this extension where it gets left by the wayside. its too good. also, the source for your logos, whether its clearbit or some other source, it's good, but not perfect. and I know we can edit and add our own logos so that's good. but I'm wondering if maybe there's an option to add different sources for different logo sets as I notice for example, by default, it doesn't really have good sources for Google workspace logos. for example, Google docs, Gmail etc...don't really have logos, so we have to insert manually. not a deal breaker, but just giving you a heads up. thanks! also, maybe instead of white backgrounds for the icons, maybe an option to have it be translucent? so if we have a darker background, it's better for night mode / dark theme. thank you. |
| 2024-11-07 |  | | en | This thing is almost perfect, it's the only "bookmark dial" extension that actually uses the chrome bookmarks rather than it's proprietary bookmark list, which enables it to sync beautifully between clients with Chrome Sync. The one improvement I would like to see is to be able to sync the optional custom icons ("choose icon from file") between clients. It seems to sync the default "page rendering icons" so it should be doable |
