en When this worked, it was incredible and very useful. When it worked. The good, fairly simple interface and allows for stockpiling of comments that can be recycled through a user's focused hashtags. With the sometimes understood relationship between DE and Meta, the user is using an allowed third party app to skirt the boundaries of the otherwise tight commenting controls, the sort of commenting that would otherwise lock you out or put in direct (or shadow) kail for X amount of time. When it was working. When it didn't work though (for multiple reasons), it was a headache and customer support was lacking. I've used this service in two separate chunks, one for nearly a year and then, after a multiple month break, again for two months. 1. I never went through two consecutive months where it worked without glitches. The price you pay for what the product is was good enough to stomach the glitches for a time, but they were still undeniable. *The interface between the Chrome extension and the actual Instagram app didn't always work and this had a cascading effect. For instance, when the user has a comment in the queue ready to use and they click on it, the Instagram app should open and the comment should appear in the post the user is commenting on. However, at various times this didn't happen and when that occurred, the plug in is dead on arrival. If the user tries to work around, say paste the comment in to the Instagram post field because it didn't self populate, the user will eventually get locked out by Instagram for pasting too many comments. *DE does not react well, or quickly, to changes in Meta programming. Their plug in, and over all business model, works off of Meta and must act in harmony for this plug in to work. When Meta makes changes, DE plays catch up and eventually closes the loop, but the users do not know anything about the progress, just that there is a problem as they try to use the plug in. DE doesn't really use social media to keep customers informed for service outages, it doesn't, for example, use Face Book to keep customers informed as to the progress of their software team's progress in re-integrating the new Meta language with the DE plug in. This is one of the several areas where DE will deny any responsibility and blame the outage on Meta. 2. Communication with customer service is atrocious. *At a time when I was a paying customer of several month's time, I started experiencing routine glitches. As with any service, I contacted customer support. The user will receive a pre written response stating they are a small but dedicated group that will likely respond to the user's inquiry in 1-2 business days. In the worst case scenario, I waited weeks without a response so I wrote again giving them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe the first note ended up in a spam folder. Another number of weeks past and having given DE ample opportunity to communicate AND hopefully fix the bugs, neither of which occurred, I thought it was appropriate to leave a review on their Facebook page under customer reviews. And since I saw they seemed to be posting through their Instagram account I started responding to posts their as well. They had the time to write Instagram posts and interact with people there, but they didn't have time to address customer service issues from paying customers. I personally experienced delaying and denying for an extended period of time and when I kept responding via Facebook and Instagram, they threatened me (a paying customer) with blocking me on all social media. That's right, they didn't respond to customer service inquiries, but thought blocking paying customers outright was the next valid step. 3. The straw that broke the camels back came in the last 48 hours from Instagram themselves when Instagram was going to suspend my account for using DE. I have loads more but there is a character limit so I'll have to stop here.

I wanted to love it and even share it with my clients, but it is super glitchy and the customer service doesn't even read the emails you send them. Great in theory. glad the first month was free.
2021-06-23 liz @UsAndTheEarth This tool has helped me boost my Instagram account tremendously. It's quite simple to use, and I love that it's now compatible with the Instagram browser! It's really motivating to be able to keep track of how many comments you've sent out in a day. With the use of this strategy and technology, I have already been able to reach a whole new audience and fans!

This has made my life so easy and allows me to be posting comments all day long to prolong my engagement in less time. Seriously obsessed and would recommend to anyone.

It works fine, when it wants to. I have to uninstall the extension and reinstall it every time I want to use it. Even though I'm logged in on the DollarEighty website, the widget doesn't recognize that. I tried reaching out to support & emailed back and forth for a couple of days, was told there was an update and it was fixed... but it's not fixed. I'm not sure I'm going to keep using it, uninstalling & reinstalling it every time I want to use it got old really quickly.
