With a brief test, it seems to work better than others. No whitelisting though, or any other configuration. | |

Works on more websites than most similar extensions, but has no configurability whatsoever. With that said, this extension does its job effectively in many cases. Though the app claims to only invert background images, many developers use the background image of a sized element as a means of displaying images that cover their container. This means that on many websites, images that are part of the page content are inverted with no way to revert to their original color values. As a suggestion to the developer, it may make sense to disable inversion for background images of certain element types. In particular, anchor tags (<a .../>) often have a background image that is meant as an interactive part of the page content. P.S. Though this extension was updated recently, the developer's url (which is the same as the app's "website") is broken. If this project is open source, I could try to put together a PR to make the changes I suggested in my review. | |
