Tab Search: Search the Content of Your Tabs

Tab Search allows you to search across all open tabs from one place. It's a convenient tool to help you quickly find and switch to the content you need in your tabs.

What It Does:

• Simultaneously searches the content of all open tabs.
• Simplifies tab switching.
• Directly takes you to the part of the webpage where your search term is found.

USAGE

Install and click the extension icon in the extensions tray, or use Option/Alt + F as a shortcut. Start typing, and Tab Search will show results from all your tabs. Click a result to go to that tab and the exact spot of your search term, or use arrow keys to navigate through the results.

Tab Search is an efficient way to manage multiple open tabs and find information quickly.

For optimal performance, it's recommended to use Tab Search with Chrome's memory saver feature turned off. This is because the extension needs to access the content of all tabs, and the memory saver feature might unload some tabs to conserve resources. However, Tab Search will still work as expected with memory saver on, it just means that if it encounters any unloaded tabs, it will automatically reload them when you invoke the extension and show an "Indexing tabs..." message during this process.
