Reddit Filter is a Chrome extension that allows you to filter subreddits from your reddit feed. With a simple click, you can filter out posts from any unwanted subreddits. This extension also removes promoted posts (ads) from your feed, giving you a more personalized browsing experience.

Filter subreddits from your reddit feed. If you don't want to see certain subreddits in your feeds, click a simple close button on top right corner of the post to filter any future posts from the subreddit. You can also manage the subreddits being filtered. This also remove any promoted posts (ads).

didn't work if you use it with UI Changer for Reddit 2.1.0 since i hate the new look and wanted to use the old theme (new.reddit.com). now all the blocked subs appeared again, sigh

Don't know what those others are talking about. This works great, and so simple. Click the X in the upper right, boom you don't see that subreddit anymore. Wish Reddit incorporated this into the actual native site, but eh, it's Reddit.
