Früher mal gut, heute kaum noch zu gebrauchen. Ja, es gibt inzwischen unheimlich viele tolle Features, Cloudanbindung usw., aber die simpelsten Funktionen in Sachen Workflow sind (im Vergleich zu alten Versionen bis ca. 2020) einfach nur noch PAIN in the A**! Die Darstellungsgröße ändert sich eigenständig, stellt man sie so ein wie man arbeiten möchte ist die Einstellung beim nächsten PDF wieder vergessen. Ich hätte gerne ein A4 großes PDF in voller Bildschirmhöhe angezeigt, immer, so als Standard. Nö, entweder bin ich als IT-Vollnerd (und Adobe-Nutzer seit Ende der 1990er) zu doof, oder es funktioniert schlicht nicht. Und plötzlich ist die Darstellungsgröße wieder komplett anders als vorher, ohne manuelle Änderung und ohne zwischendrin mal ein PDF mit anderer Größe geöffnet zu haben. Ähnlich beim Speichern. Jedes mal beim Speichen eines PDFs auf dem eigenen System (tatsächlich lokal auf dem jeweiligen Rechner) landet man in ...\UserXY\Downloads. Alte Versionen haben sich das jeweils zuletzt genutzte Verzeichnis gemerkt. Chrome ist so eingerichtet dass beim Speichern sämtlicher anderer Dateien das auch so funktioniert. Nur Adobe muss da mal wieder eine Extrawurst produzieren. Die tollen Bearbeitungs- und Cloud-Funktionen reißen es da dann auch nicht mehr raus. Bearbeiten wie wir es im Unternehmen brauchen können andere Tools auch und die Adobe-Cloud ist bei uns aus Datenschutzgründen ohnehin ein Tabu. Wir haben ein eigenes Cloudsystem. Das kann man dähmlicherweise nicht an Acrobat ankoppeln, sondern muss über den Systemdialog speichern. Bei uns im Unternehmen fliegt die Acrobat-Erweiterung jetzt von sämtlichen Rechnern runter und wird durch einen Drittanbieter PDF-Viewer ersetzt der folgende Anforderungen erfüllt: - Text markieren und kopieren (kann Adobe auch) - Lokal speichern und dabei das zuletzt benutzte Verzeichnis nutzen, bzw. sich am Browserstandard orientieren (kann Adobe nicht) - Darstellungsgröße einmal einstellen und dann beibehalten (kann Adobe auch nicht) Sorry Adobe, aber Ihr habt da ein paar ganz basale Dinge und einen ehemals effizienten Workflow unnötig verkompliziert.
