## Description

The Sortd Companion App is designed to work seamlessly with the Sortd for Gmail Chrome Extension and Gmail Add-On, transforming your email experience into a powerful organizational tool. It allows users to view all tasks and lists created in Sortd, manage and prioritize them with drag-and-drop functionality, and switch effortlessly between lists using intuitive gestures.

Key features include task management, assigning tasks, inline commenting and chat for collaboration, notes, reminders, and due date tracking. While the mobile app does not support the Inbox or adding emails directly, it complements the Gmail Add-On by providing full access to your Sortd lists on the go. This app is ideal for anyone looking to streamline email task management and boost productivity within Gmail.

Users praise the Sortd desktop Chrome extension for organizing Gmail and keeping work email manageable. The Android app, however, is widely criticized: many users cannot log in, report endless authentication loops, blank screens on devices like Samsung and OnePlus phones, and no integration with the Gmail mobile app. Other complaints include poor UI choices, missing tasks on mobile, intrusive Gmail permission requests, and slow or absent support responses. Some users say the app is not ready for release and recommend using the web version instead.
