## Description

**YouTube Transcript to Text** adds practical tools to YouTube for working with video transcripts and playback. Load a video transcript, open it in a dedicated tab for easier reading, or save it as a formatted Markdown text file for use in any text editor or Visual Studio Code.

The extension also adds controls to double playback speed and copy the current YouTube URL without timestamp or playlist information. Buttons are displayed near the video description and include tooltips. Note that the speed control affects only the first player when multiple video players are present and may require reloading the page or selecting another speed to disable its autoreset behavior.
