## Description

YouTube Custom Settings gives you fine-grained control over YouTube playback so every video behaves the way you want. Enable only the options you need: set a default video quality (144p–8K), preferred playback speed (0.1–16x), default volume, subtitle language (ignores auto-generated), always use the original audio track, and enable an audio normalizer. You can also hide members-only videos, remove Shorts from feeds/results, and prevent Shorts from auto-looping. After installing, open the extension popup to set your preferences and refresh any open YouTube tabs.

Privacy-first and open source: the add-on collects no tracking data and performs only the actions you configure. It's free to use with an optional pay-what-you-want donation to support development. Source code and issue/feature tracking are available on GitHub.
