<b>With Algebra Tutor, you learn by doing!</b> The course is designed to help you <b>develop mastery</b> and <b>gain a deeper understanding</b> of topics ranging from number practice to building, simplifying, and manipulating algebraic expressions, using formulae, and solving equations - including simultaneous equations.<br><br><font color="#ff1122">♥</font> <b>Animations</b>, as well as being fun to watch, have been created to help you understand how and why things simplify - you can pause them, restart them, slow them down, or speed them up to see exactly what’s happening!<br><font color="#ff1122">♥</font> Access <b>explanations, hints, examples, and tips</b> from within each task.<br><font color="#ff1122">♥</font> <b>Work at your own pace</b>, practising as much as you like in each section - Algebra Tutor will keep generating more tasks.<br><font color="#ff1122">♥</font> <b>Choose your own route</b> through the course. Algebra Tutor will show you which topics could be started next based on the ones already completed.<br><font color="#ff1122">♥</font> Complete topics to access their <b>revision sections</b> - attempt these as often as you like, they will be different each time!<br><br>Algebra Tutor uses 3 modes - each one is an important stage in the learning process, so we’ll move between them many times:<br><font color="#008a4e"><b>Show Me Mode</b> <i>Enter steps, then <u>watch</u> animations to see how they’re done.</i></font><br><font color="#009090"><b>Step Check Mode</b> <i>We’ll check each step as you <u>walk</u> through a task.</i></font><br><font color="#0040ff"><b>Independent Mode</b> <i>Edit any line as you <u>fly</u> through the whole task yourself!</i></font><br><br>You’re in control of your own learning with Algebra Tutor - once you have mastered tasks in a section, you can choose when to move on. Topics have between 3 and 7 sections each, plus a revision section once completed - if you’d like more practice, or a refresher, topics can be restarted any time without losing your progress.<br><br>Most tasks involve some form of algebraic manipulation, with the start of some sections also presenting important information and explanations along with a variety of multiple-choice style tasks.
