## Description

**Private Bookmarks** is a Chrome extension that lets you create a password-protected, encrypted bookmark folder on your browser. Unlike online services, all your private bookmarks remain encrypted locally on your machine, giving you full control over your sensitive data. When unlocked, the "Private Bookmarks" folder appears under "Other Bookmarks" enabling you to add or remove links securely. Once locked, this folder is removed from view and its contents stay encrypted.
