⚙️ Setup &amp; API Key Requirement
<blockquote><strong>Important:</strong> To ensure reliability, fast loading, and to respect API rate limits, Vantavue requires a free <a href="https://prod.outgoing.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/v1/a7893fa5fde344cee3dd218d2524e7b5057a930c1ba587c63ad6bbd3743e27d1/https%3A//openweathermap.org/" rel="nofollow">OpenWeatherMap</a> API key to function.</blockquote>
<strong>How to set it up:</strong>
1. Create a free account at OpenWeatherMap.
2. Generate your personal API key (it activates within ~2 hours).
3. Open Vantavue, click <strong>⚙ Manage cities</strong>, and paste your key.

🔒 Privacy First

Your data stays with you. All cities, settings, and cached weather data are stored <strong>locally</strong> on your device using <code>browser.storage.local</code>. Vantavue only communicates with the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch your weather data.
